I was born and raised in Dudley in the West Midlands or ‘Black country’ as many people know it, famous for its castle and Zoo. On leaving school I worked as an office junior and over the years covered most aspects of clerical work. Working with children was an occupation I always thought would be a lovely thing to do but didn’t pursue it at the time.
I met my husband who is from this area, so when we got married I moved to Wheelock. That is when I volunteered to help at a private Nursery and after two weeks was offered a permanent position and have worked in childcare ever since. I have been at Wesley for nearly 9 years so have worked with some of the staff for a number of years. In my spare time I love taking my son Go-carting, music, dancing and walking my two gorgeous dogs! |
