OUR AIM
To provide a warm, friendly atmosphere where children can feel safe
and happy whilst promoting their physical, social, emotional and
intellectual development, through a range of imaginative activities,
opportunities and experiences.
THE
STAFF
The staff are highly experienced, are checked by the Criminal
Records Bureau and are fully trained in First Aid.
EQUAL
OPPORTUNITIES
The Group are committed to equal opportunities and treat all
individuals with the same respect; regardless of creed, colour,
class, gender or ability. |

SPECIAL
EDUCATION NEEDS
We welcome all children regardless of their ability. All staff have
special educational needs training and the Special Educational Needs
Co-ordinator will be able to advise on the best course of action for
including any child with additional needs.
PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
We recognise that parents are the first and most significant
influence over their children’s education and want to be involved at
every stage of their development. For this reason we endeavour to
work in partnership with parents/carers. This is achieved in various
ways, for example, the group is run by a committee elected by
parents and carers who are actively encouraged to participate at all
levels of the playgroup’s operation from administration to hands on
helper volunteers. |
